1. Do you make all kinds of loans?

The loans we grant are for the financing of vehicles or complementary items marketed by the agencies where Grupo Financiero CAFSA has a presence.

2. Do you finance the purchase of vehicles in any agency in the country?

No, we only finance vehicles that are in agencies where Grupo Financiero CAFSA has a presence, such as Purdy Motor, Nacional Automotriz, Automotriz and Cori Motors de Centroamérica.

3. How long does the financing approval process take?

If all the requested requirements are completed, an average of 24 hours for vehicle credit, and in the case of a CrediCAFSA, approximately 2 hours.

4. What are the requirements that must be presented for the approval of a loan?

If you are a natural person: completed credit application, copy of valid identity card, proof of salary and employer order for employees or, failing that, CPA and account statements for the last 3 months.

 

If you are a legal entity: financial statements of the last 3 fiscal years and a recent court with no more than 3 months old, copy of the legal identity card, original legal personality with no more than 30 days of issuance, projected cash flows.

 

In the case of being a CrediCAFSA, the following must be submitted: a completed credit application, a copy of the valid identity card, proof of salary and employer order for employees or, failing that, CPA and account statements for the last 3 months. This applies only to those cases with Historical Payment Behavior in SUGEF equal to one (CIC 1), without historical arrears greater than 30 days.

5. Are the rates fixed or variable?

In dollars a mixed rate is offered and in colones a variable rate is offered.

6. Do you charge commissions for making extra payments or canceling the credit early?

No commission is charged for prompt payment.

7. What is the procedure that must be followed in case of wanting to transfer the debt to a third party?

The person who is going to acquire the debt must present all the requirements that are requested to be able to carry out the respective study. In addition, the vehicle must be appraised at the corresponding agency to verify its condition and determine its market value, 70% of the value of the appraisal is lent.

8. Can other lawyers be used to make the garment?

No, the lawyers used are those from Grupo Financiero CAFSA's plant.

9. In the event of making extraordinary payments, will the credit installment go down?

There are two possibilities in case of making extraordinary fertilizers. You can continue paying the same fee and leave in a faster period or, you can make an adjustment of the fee which would decrease depending on the amount of the extraordinary payment.

12. What are the ways to make the payment? To which account should the deposit / transfer of my monthly payment be made?

13. Does not make the payment on the date established in the contract, does it affect the amount of my fee?
  • Yes. As of the day after expiration, the collection of late interest is made and on the fifth calendar day an additional fine.
  • In addition to affecting your credit history at SUGEF.
14. What is the procedure to update the value of my vehicle?

Is required:

  • The duplicate of the policy
  • Market value letter (in the corresponding agency)
  • Submit the documents and request the procedure from your formalization executive.
15. Requirements for the exclusion of insurance policy.
  • It must be carried out by the owner of the operation and the insured before the Insurance Marketing Company.
  • Present a copy of the insurance policy indicating the policy number and the pledge in favor of Financiera CAFSA at 100%.
  • Present a copy of the receipt which must detail the payment of the insurance policy (time defined by the Administration).
  • Submit a complete insurance application, with the signatures of the policyholder and the responsible Insurance Agent.
  • The operation must have the current paid quota for the month in which the procedure is carried out.
  • Present a copy of the identification document.
16. What to do in the event of an accident

17. Why does my fee vary?

If your installment varies in a month around $ 10, this may be due to the exchange differential; but if it is higher, it may be due to the loss of the bonus, for which you should contact your Insurance Marketing Company directly.

18. What is the Garment Release process?

This procedure can be done through CAFSA's lawyers or through your lawyer.

If you decide to do it with CAFSA, the requirements are the following:

  • Cancel the value of the procedure ($ 169.50) in the boxes located in the Agencies where CAFSA has a presence, or if you wish to make a deposit in any of the payment accounts.
  • Appear before the Business Promoter or in Central Offices, and deliver the receipt that proves the payment of the procedure.
  • This process can take about a month, depending on the National Registry.

If you decide to do it with your lawyer, you should do the following:

  • Send a processing request email to the address liberaprendas@cafsa.fi.cr, where it is explained that you want to cancel the pledge, details of the person who will manage the procedure, telephone or email to contact you and give you the instructions to follow.

Current exchange rate at Arrendadora CAFSA (the exchange rate is adjusted to market conditions)

3. What should I do in case of theft or accident?

Call the traffic and the INS and report the loss, then call Arrendadora CAFSA, at the telephone number 2547-5513, report the case, and provide all the corresponding documentation to start the process of lifting the lien and repairing the property, if applicable.

4. In the event of a collision, where should I repair my vehicle?

All the vehicles in our fleet must be repaired at Purdy Auto, prior coordination with the Rental Company, at the telephone number 2547-5513.

5. What type of vehicles can I purchase by leasing?

All those individuals and work distributed in the agencies where Grupo Financiero CAFSA has a presence (Grupo Purdy Motor, LEXUS, NASA, Automotive).

6. What items does the maintenance fee include?

Normally it includes the payment for use of the vehicle, insurance and tracking device, only in some cases that are under special programs will it also include the cost of preventive maintenance for a certain mileage.

7. What procedure should I do if I want to take the vehicle out of the country?
 

Processing fee: $ 75.

This procedure can be carried out through the Account Executive, in Central Offices through the Collection Officer.

 

• Letter of request specifying the destination country (s), departure and return date of the country or countries to visit, license plate number and must be signed by the owner, debtor or lessee of the vehicle or, failing that, the legal representative of the company. You must also specify the qualities of the: person responsible for signing the promissory note (if applicable). In the case of leased vehicles, you must also indicate:

◦ Qualities of the Driver (s) and the person who will manage the process before the National Registry.

◦ If the vehicle has labeling (yes or no) and the type of use (commercial, personal or both) specified according to the contract.

◦ Provide a readable RTV Copy (can be received via email).

• All client operations must be fully up to date.

• Depending on your payment behavior as a customer, you are asked to do the following:

◦ A guarantor, which must be a salaried person with the ability to pay for the balance of the debt. This must present:

▪ Know Your Client Form (duly completed and signed by the guarantor).

▪ Legible photocopy of the identification document.

▪ Proof of Employment (minimum 1 year of working for the same company)

▪ Current employer order

▪ Authorization to deliver credit information to all supervised entities (Natural Person)

▪ Receipt of public services with the exact address of the residence

• In the cases of credits that maintain the insurance policy separately, they must present a duplicate of the current insurance.

• Vehicles cannot present judicial liens, otherwise the Property Registry does not authorize them to leave.

• It is a personal procedure and you must present identification or authorization of a lawyer.

• In the case of companies, they must present the Legal Status attached to the application.

• This procedure has a cost described in the Set of rates that must be paid by the available means of payment, at the time of requesting the procedure.

Notes:

Very important in credit cases, you should contact your insurance agent about the procedures required to obtain extraterritoriality, as you must have it so that the permit can be authorized by CAFSA. The amount of the procedure can be paid in the CAFSA boxes or by deposit in the payment accounts in dollars with subject: payment of exit permit and operation number. To expedite the process, the requirements and proof of payment can be sent to the mail permisos@cafsa.fi.cr, the physical documents must be subsequently delivered to the agencies where Grupo Financiera CAFSA has a presence. To withdraw the Exit Permit, the legal representative (legal persons) or debtor (client) and the guarantor must appear at the time of delivery of the document. Remember that this procedure must be carried out five business days in advance (eight business days in case the request is made outside the Metropolitan area).

8. What procedure should I do to renew the weights and dimensions permit?

For this procedure, the vehicle must already have its final license plate. The client sends the request by email secretariaarrendadora@cafsa.fi.cr, or can request it by phone indicating the license plate number of the vehicle and the person who must be authorized to carry out the procedures.

Once the request is made, the respective documents will be delivered to you within a minimum period of 3 business days.

At all times you must be up to date with the procedures and obligations with the Landlord.

9. What should I do if a metal plate is lost or stolen?

A sworn statement from the client must be sent to the Landlord indicating what happened, if it was theft or loss, indicate if the plate is back or front, and indicate in said document who will be the person who must be authorized to do the procedures before COSEVI (Certification up to date with fines and infractions).

With the above, we prepare the sworn statement to be submitted to the Public Registry and authorizations for COSEVI.

The documentation is delivered within a minimum period of 3 days, paying the respective amount.

At all times you must be up to date with the procedures and obligations with the Landlord.

10. What procedure should I do if the metal plates or the vehicle are retained?

Communicate to the Landlord what was the reason for the retention, ticket number and respective Court, as well as the person in charge of carrying out said procedures.

With the foregoing, authorizations for the corresponding withdrawal are made, after cancellation of the expenses corresponding to the Lessor.

At all times you must be up to date with the procedures and obligations with the Landlord.

12. Who must pay the right of circulation each year and the Vehicle Technical Review?

18. What are my options at the end of my lease?
  • Return the asset at maturity.
  • Acquire the property at the end of the lease.

19. What is the procedure for the settlement / renewal of my contract? How long in advance should it be managed?

20. What to do in the event of an accident?

If you are a client of Arrendadora CAFSA SA, do the following:

Call 911 to make the report to the corresponding traffic authority, then call 800-800-8000 of the INS, wait for the accident notice and the citation ticket, if applicable.

Later, during office hours (8:00 am - 5:30 pm), contact our Fleet Manager at 2547-5513 who will give you the instructions to follow.

Yes, we are regulated by the General Superintendency of Financial Entities (SUGEF) and the General Superintendency of Securities (SUGEVAL).

2. What type of loans do you use the money raised from the public?

4. Can I trade the certificate on the National Stock Exchange?

Yes, they are negotiable on the National Stock Exchange and the certificates can be transferred to third parties through endorsement.

5. Does the custody of the certificates by your entity have any cost?

The certificates can be kept at no cost by our administration.

6. Can I opt for a Back to Back credit if I have a Term Certificate of Deposit with you?

Yes, the certificates can be used as collateral for a credit operation with Grupo Financiero Cafsa SA, up to 95%.

7. What are the requirements that must be submitted to open a Term Deposit Certificate?

If you are a natural person: form know your client filled out, copy of valid identity card, proof of salary and employer order (in case of being salaried) or, failing that, CPA, account statements of the last 3 months, a receipt of services public.

If you are a legal person: photocopy of the legal identity card and of the legal representative, legible photocopy of the Articles of Incorporation and Certification of the Composition of the Share Capital. Financial statements for the last 3 fiscal years and a recent cut-off no more than 3 months old, original legal status no more than 30 days old, and company profile.
